Echo aims to help people manage their mental health by make access to professional care easy and bridge the gap of time between healthcare sessions by building management skills.
Over 40 million adults are affected by anxiety disorders in the U.S., but over half are going untreated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, there has been an immense increase in mental health concerns, affecting 1 in 5 american adults.
So why should we care?
We all experience anxiety whether it’s every now and then or stops you everyday from doing the things that you love. Echo allows everyone to take control of their health from the comfort of their home or wherever anxiety strikes.
RESEARCH & PROCESS
Before moving into the app, I conducted research to help me better understand my users. By creating personas, user journey maps, a competitive analysis, and learning more about mental health, I was able to understand who I was creating for and what the product needed to accomplish.
BRANDING
The brand is designed to feel comforting yet fun. Curves and rounded edges were used to achieve a softer feel while bright colors that have been slightly muted to feel fun but not overwhelming.
THE PRODUCTS: THE APP
The app is designed to help users from the comfort of their home or anywhere anxiety attacks. The app includes features such as a daily mood journal with monthly insights and relaxation audios for in-the-moment mental management. For long-term mental health management, users can schedule healthcare appointments and order prescriptions.
THE PRODUCTS: PACKAGING
Users have the ability to order their prescriptions directly to their door. This packaging is designed to protect it’s contents, while also providing users with a fun design. Each pill pack contains consumption directions on the back and a positive statement on the front to remind users to be kind to their mind everytime they pick up the pack.
